Level 3 students started the year with a project set by Elmwood studio in Leeds. The briefing by Rob Skelly and Kevin Lee – both Lincoln alumni – was to imagine that the year is 2026 and four hypothetical changes to society have occurred. Driverless cars; The High Street is Dead; Social time with family and friends is no more; Education is not compulsory. Each student then selected an individual service, company or product to rebrand in response to one of the four themes.
At the mid-way point of the project Kev and Katie from Elmwood returned and gave students feedback on their ideas. The deadline required each student to upload work to Elmwood for review, following much deliberation 8 students have been shortlisted and will present their work at Elmwood in Janaury.
Good luck to Dan, Tom F, Laura, Kirsten, Mollie, Emma, Robyn and Jody and a big thank you to Elmwood for including us in this years’ industry brief.
