Philippa Wood is a Senior Lecturer on the BA(Hons) Graphic Design course. Her current practice explores the genre of the artist’s book, with a regard to the synthesis of traditional and current print processes.
She has recently produced a series of work that investigates and records the way ordinary, mundane and decorative objects are used to lend personal meaning to spaces in which we live and work.
Philippa Wood and Barrie Tullett run the Caseroom Press; an independent publisher based in Edinburgh and Lincoln. Their books and magazines have been reviewed in The Scotsman, The Times and The Guardian as well as MAP and Eye Magazines. Their books have been nominated for a number of awards.
